Sabine takes the ornate romance of Skyla and tightens it around a golden bezel. A marquise center sits inside that crisp frame while the split shank unfolds into hand engraving, white diamonds and ruby accents—old-world craft sharpened by a bold line of gold.
At approximately 1.55mm at its narrowest point, the split band stays airy beneath its carved detail. Diamonds and rubies punctuate the engraved surface with flashes of white and red, while the bezel gives the marquise a strong silhouette against the ornament around it.
True hand engraving is one of the increasingly rare bench arts in jewelry. An artisan cuts the pattern directly into precious metal with a graver—a small, razor-sharp hand tool—building every line, leaf, groove and contour one stroke at a time. The engraving alone can require a full day at the bench. When the pattern begins as original KDD artwork, the process becomes even more special: a drawing conceived for the ring is translated by hand into precious metal, preserving the subtle decisions and marks that no machine can truly reproduce.
