Thistle

Thistle feels as though it grew around the center stone rather than being built for it. Leaf-shaped prongs rise into a sculpted botanical gallery, while the vine-like band carries the eye around the finger in one soft, organic line.

At approximately 1.8mm wide, the shank stays delicate enough for the leaf work to remain airy, and the absence of side stones lets the center diamond stay beautifully clear. The nature story is in the metal itself: leaves, curves and negative space doing the decorative work that pavé normally would. Thistle is romantic without being ornate, with a profile that becomes more interesting the closer you look.

Thistle is for the person who would rather wear a suggestion of the natural world than a literal flower. She notices the curve of a stem, the shape of a leaf and the small irregularities that make handmade objects feel alive.
