Rayna - Cushion

Rayna frames the soft geometry of a cushion-cut center with a band covered in meticulous hand engraving. Rather than relying on pavé for its character, the metal itself carries the decoration, giving the ring the richness and intimacy of an heirloom made by hand.

A skilled engraver creates those details with a graver, carving each tiny line directly into the metal. It is painstaking bench work—at least a full day for the engraving alone—and an increasingly rare skill in modern jewelry. The slight humanity of hand-cut lines is exactly the point: Rayna carries the touch of the artisan who made it.

Rayna is for the old soul who cares how something was made. She is drawn to antique technique, tactile detail and pieces that feel as though they could have a history even on the day they are finished.
