At approximately 1.7mm wide, the band keeps the radiant visually expansive despite roughly 0.297 carats of colorless VS accent diamonds throughout the setting. The hidden sparkle concentrates detail around the center without sacrificing the clean elongated silhouette from above.
The leaves on the prongs are carved by hand with a graver, a sharp engraving tool guided one deliberate cut at a time. Very few jewelry artisans still practice true hand engraving; it is a disappearing bench skill, and the engraving work alone can take a full day. Each tiny cut catches light differently, giving the leaves a crispness and human character that cannot be replicated by simply casting a pattern into the metal.
