Isabella frames the pillowy geometry of a cushion diamond with details borrowed from the natural world. Leaf-engraved prongs hold the center while a peek-a-boo halo glimmers beneath it, keeping the view from above graceful and the side profile full of surprise.
The approximately 1.75mm band keeps the silhouette fine and lets the cushion remain visually dominant. About 0.063 carats of colorless VS diamonds are tucked beneath the center, adding light to the gallery rather than crowding the face of the ring.
The leaf detail is cut into the prongs by hand. With a graver—a sharp engraving tool controlled entirely by the artisan—each vein and contour is carved directly into the metal. True hand engraving is increasingly rare in jewelry, with very few craftspeople left who can execute this work at a high level; the engraving alone can consume a full day at the bench. The result has a depth and individuality that a stamped or machine-made pattern cannot duplicate.
