Zebo makes a solitaire feel sculptural. A wave-like 1.5mm band rises toward an oval center, where hand-engraved leaf prongs hold the stone and a peek-a-boo halo sends small flashes of diamond light from beneath.
Approximately 0.092 carats of colorless VS diamonds are tucked under the center rather than spread across the band, preserving the fluid metal silhouette. The oval's smooth length acts as a calm counterpoint to the movement of the shank.
The leaves at the prongs are carved one by one by a hand engraver using a graver—a sharp tool that removes tiny ribbons of metal with each controlled stroke. It is a rare skill and increasingly a dying art in jewelry; very few artisans still do this work, and the engraving alone can require a full day at the bench. Those hand-cut lines are what transform a functional prong into a miniature piece of sculpture.
