We met at Drew University while I was visiting my sister, and from the very first conversation, our connection felt natural and meaningful.who knew I would be meeting the love of my life that night! Owen’s strength, gentle heart, and effortless humor made me feel safe, cherished, and certain that what we had was something truly special.
Choosing my engagement ring at Ken & Dana Design was one of the most memorable days of my life. As someone who is creative, and drawn to antique, Renaissance-inspired designs, I had always dreamed of a regal, princess-like ring, and Ken & Dana made that dream come true. Owen is my prince, and the ring perfectly reflects our love.
The proposal itself was a complete surprise. In October, during peak fall foliage, Owen brought me to his family’s home in Lake Placid. We hiked across the land until we reached a waterfall by the lake, and then he led me to the dock, holding his Bible, and read Proverbs 31. I was sobbing, overwhelmed, and when he asked me to marry him, I was so shocked I forgot to answer — until I l realized said, “Oh wait… yes!”
Now, as we prepare to be married this January, our hearts are full. Our love feels heaven-sent, rooted in faith, joy, and laughter, and we are so grateful to begin this next chapter with a ring and a story that reflect who we truly are.
