We met during graduate school at Villanova University in 2022 and, after our first date, we became inseparable! We spent every moment we could together— coffee before class, late night studying, proof reading one another’s thesis, and finally graduating together the following year.

A couple years after graduating, my friends and I were daydreaming about engagement rings when I ran across the Luu at Ken and Dana and couldn’t get it out of my head. Soon after, we made an appointment with Cara at Ken and Dana (who is absolutely amazing by the way) and designed our perfect version of the Luu!

Reid planned the perfect surprise getaway to Chicago, including everything he knew I’d want to do! The morning of the proposal, Reid woke up at the crack of dawn and made sure all of our clothes were perfectly ironed (not suspicious at all haha!) and took me to a farmers market in Lincoln Park. As we stopped in the perfect clearing in the park, photographer following quickly behind on her bike, Reid finally asked me to marry him! It couldn’t have been a more perfect moment.

I’ve known since the day I met Reid that he was the one for me. He’s so kind, has never met a stranger, and is my closest friend! “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same”.

We’re so grateful to have found the best jeweler that has been able to make this experience even more incredible. We love you guys and have gushed to all our friends! Can’t wait to start designing our wedding bands!
