Hannah and I met through mutual friends and were friends with each other for about a year before we started dating. We both enjoy being outside and some of our fondest memories are in the mountains, skiing in the winter and hiking/running in the summer. I thought it would be fitting to propose on top of a mountain, so after a long hike up Mt. San Jacinto in March, I got down on one knee and asked her the question. After she said yes, we had the mountain top to ourselves for a few minutes as we took in the beautiful view and hugged each other.

We wanted to embody our shared sense of adventure in our engagement photos, so we went to Staney, Idaho and captured some snowy shots with the Sawtooth mountains as the backdrop. Hannah's friend, Katherine, flew out to Idaho for the weekend and helped us get the perfect shots. We're so happy with how the pictures turned out.
I shopped all around to find a ring that fit Hannah's elegant, but minimalist style. Once I found KDD I knew I was in the right spot.
