Bobby and I began dating nearly seven years ago after being introduced by mutual friends while we were in high school. We navigated a long-distance relationship throughout college, and more recently, glad to be back in the same location, we began working at the same company together.
In July, we took a trip with Bobby’s two brothers and two of my closest friends to Colorado. We spent the first few days hiking and camping. On the morning of our engagement, my friends insisted we should find some showers somewhere so that we could get ready and dressed up to go to the shops in Ouray. (Looking back, I was so grateful they did that!) After Ouray, we drove to Andrew’s Lake, where Bobby’s brothers quickly disappeared into the woods (I later found out they had bribed some hikers to stay off the dock that overlooked the lake) and my friends trailed behind as we made our way. Bobby pulled me onto to the dock and proposed!

As the sun set over the lake, we called our families and shared the good news. We made our way to our Airbnb for the night and found that our friends had gone ahead and set up a surprise celebration for us. The day could not have been more perfect!

Long before our trip to Colorado, Bobby and I had chosen my engagement ring together. I had been following KDD’s social platforms since middle school and am fairly certain I pinned my future engagement ring to a wedding Pinterest board when I was 14. We both felt that KDD offered the most beautiful designs and a reputation we trusted. From everything I’ve heard, Bobby had a wonderful experience ordering the ring, and we recommend KDD to everyone we know!!
