Ken and I met on... TINDER (can you believe?) back in July 2017! Our first date was at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen in Chelsea, and the rest is history. We are both actors, singers and writers, and have a mutual love of Christmas, family, Disney Parks, the arts, cats, and being Italian.
I had dreamed of a Ken & Dana ring since the moment I knew Ken was the one. I have always loved the whimsical designs that felt vintage and so unique. Back in December 2023, my grandparents Pete and Sheila gifted us with an heirloom from a passed family member. Ken knew how much I loved Ken and Dana and originally made an appointment for himself to set the diamond, but he knew how much I wanted to be a part of the process and we went to pick out the dream ring together, in this case it was The Rosanne in yellow gold, and it's honestly the most gorgeous ring in the world.
We had an amazing appointment with Sophie and then waited until Ken officially popped the question May 24th, 2024. He proposed at Brooklyn Bridge Park on a hill that we would hang out, sunbathe, read, and have picnics - a special area for us for a majority of our relationship.
We are getting married in Los Angeles, and we wanted our engagement photos to reflect our love of mid century modern architecture and retro futurism. We love everything kitschy, vintage and theatrical, and the TWA hotel completely fit the bill and felt so "us"!
