We met while working at the same company in 2023. I saw her from afar and instantly knew I needed to know her, so with nothing but courage and an extra ticket, I asked if she liked Paramore and when she said yes, I invited her to the concert with me. Despite being complete strangers, she came, and the rest became our favorite piece of history.

I chose Ken & Dana Design because I wanted a ring that felt like her: romantic, artful, vintage, and full of detail. The Jinny captured everything I love about her— her love for thrifting, beauty, art, and timeless pieces with a story.

For the proposal, I wanted to blend our worlds: she is an incredible artist with a deep love for art history, and I am an avid historian. Museums have always been one of our favorite places to wander, wonder, and see the world through each other’s eyes. So I proposed at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, surrounded by art, history, and the kind of magic that felt entirely ours.
