Our story started in Dallas, Texas, where I walked up to Dakota at a rooftop bar. We clicked immediately, went on a date the next day, and the rest of history. We’ve been together for five years!
Dakota really liked KDD’s vintage design and wanted something timeless and within our budget. KDD checked all the boxes and we always love supporting boutique shops. Dakota is probably one of the most organized and research heavy person I’ve ever met, so when she told me what she wanted in a ring, I got a three page word document. I really couldn’t mess it up.
Our proposal story:
We took a helicopter tour around Melbourne Australia, flying across the coast through the city, seeing major landmarks while Dakota had no clue what was about to happen. Once the helicopter ride ended, we stepped out and I got on my knees to pop the question!
I purchased the ring 6-8 months ahead just so I was at ease. Lauren and the team were insightful and helpful so the customer experience was great!
