William and I met through mutual friends when I was in high school. We only really knew of each other until later on in life when I rekindled my friendship with his best friend. This is when we got

to know each other and became close friends very quickly! I had just recently given birth to my daughter and he was a reliable friend and someone I cherished.

 

After a year of close friendship, I asked him if he had feelings for me. His response, "I have a low budget crush on you." This sparked an interest in me and a few months later we began dating and fell in love at the beginning of COVID. It's been 5 years of love, memories, buying a house, traveling, and happiness. I've spent my life looking for someone to grow old with and I never imagined it would be this easy to love someone so wholly. We had a trip planned for Tokyo and Seoul in May this year. He proposed as soon as we settled into our hotel room.

 

It was an intimate moment of just the two of us. We took some engagement pictures together in Seoul at one of the palaces. Unfortunately my ring had not shipped out before our planned trip, but we received it the day we arrived at home. It's my dream ring with my dream partner and I am so happy for the rest of our lives!
