My financé Jake and I have been together for 4 years and the day before our 4 year anniversary he had told me we had a work party we needed to attend before we left for a little staycation for our anniversary. His boss went as far as to make him a fake invitation so that I wouldn’t suspect anything. When we got to the restaurant that was on the beach for the “party” he told me we needed to go down for a department beach picture.
When we got onto the beach he told me I had to leave my shoes on & that there was no party - he wanted to surprise me with an early anniversary celebration and ask me to enter the next chapter of life with him. I immediately started bawling as he walked me to this beautiful beach picnic he had set up for us and got down on one knee. I’m pretty sure I said “yess!!!!” before he even got down on one knee. Our photographer went above and beyond and stayed an extra 40 minutes to do a beach photo shoot with us.
But one of the best parts was finding out that Jake had decided to design my dream ring with Ken & Dana Design. My Dad is one of my best friends in the whole world and absolutely adores Jake so with his name being Ken it just felt like a beautiful way to honor him in the process. Ken & Dana Design went above and beyond in hand crafting my dream ring that I cannot wait to look at on my finger every day for the rest of my life.
