Catie and I were college roommates at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where we were both dance majors.
We chose to get our rings at Ken & Dana because they had something perfect for each of us. I was after a classic and simple design, while Catie wanted something a touch more unique. Ken & Dana had so much for us to look at and try on. We both ended up choosing ovals. Catie went with the Bianca in an East to West setting, and I chose the Zilli with a hidden halo. We also just loved the atmosphere at Ken & Dana and everyone was so sweet and helpful!
I proposed on Block Island, RI where Catie grew up going to the beach. It's an absolutely beautiful place. I asked Catie's family to take her on a "family vacation" and told her I couldn't make it this year. The first night of their trip Catie's mom told her they were going to check out one of the cliffs before dinner, and when they arrived I was there with a picnic set up and the ring. Catie was so surprised and we were both so happy! We celebrated after with family and friends and it was truly the best day ever. Now I am patiently (wink wink*) waiting for Catie to propose to me with the Zilli ring! I can't wait!
