Cody and I initially met actually five years before we started dating. He walked into the local bar one night and it was my first shift. As soon as he saw me he was asking everyone who the new girl was, and then went home and told his mom about me because he had a feeling I was going to become very important to him one day.

I went off to college and four years had suddenly gone by. The pandemic started and Cody went out of his way to FaceTime me every day for hours and I quickly realized he had cracked me open and I was falling for him. We started officially dating that May of 2020, and have been inseparable ever since.

He even successfully taught me how to golf and now we do that together all the time! I knew early on in our relationship that he was the one, so as any girl does, I went on Pinterest and started looking around at rings. I've had the Charleen ring saved on my Pinterest for probably 3 years. We both decided that was the ring when I showed it to him. I had never seen a design that resonated with me so much! It is timeless, elegant, and simply magical. It is entirely unique and I needed a ring to represent my uniqueness and artistic side and this one is PERFECT!

Fast forward to the big day, the two of us were on one of our beach walks at Anchor Beach, Milford CT, when he took me over to a bench overlooking the water. He said to me, "It's a really nice day out. Nice enough for me to.... propose" Then he took the ring out, asked me to be his wife, and the rest was history. I was so surprised just like I told him I wanted to be. I said yes to forever with my favorite person, and then our families came out from hiding and we all cried happy tears together while the sun set. It was an incredible moment all thanks to my dream man and the team at KDD that put together my dream ring!
