Jessie and I met in May of 2021 when I moved from California to the DC area. I am in the Marine Corps so my job brought me to D.C. and Jessie is a Dance teacher and cheerleader for the Washington Commanders. On our first date I knew something was different about her and I couldn't stop thinking about her. Shortly thereafter, I knew she was the one. I proposed to Jessie on November 23rd, 2022 at one of her favorite childhood locations in Hilton Head, SC, under the famous "Live Oak" tree in Harbor Town, right on the stage where she would watch Greg Russell perform every holiday to the children that were visiting for the holiday. She was very surprised and my photographer did an amazing job staying out of sight till the right moment.

I chose KDD for two completely unrelated reasons that brought me to this exact ring. Jessie showed me a picture of a ring last year and said that was her favorite in a nonchalant way, so I did what any other guy would do, search social media and google for it. However I could not find it. After a couple months of trying, I enlisted my sister's help and just like that, we found it. The second reason I knew I had to buy this exact ring from KDD was because the exact model that Jessie showed me (keep in mind the photo was not a model photo but just a picture of a young lady with her ring) is called "Jessie." At that time I had been ring shopping for a few months and looked at numerous rings, but nothing hit me like this ring did. Everything about it reminded me of her.
