about us

Ken & dana design is a NYC based design collective exploring the art and language of body decoration. Our roots are in Maine, Hong Kong, and Brooklyn. Our goal is to create works that are as diverse as we are- jewelry that takes chances, has a voice and looks fly.  Everything that you’ll find in this shop is made by hand from our studio in Chelsea. b-side label 

In reference to the b-side of a cassette tape, this label was initially conceived only as a place for us to experiment with materials and techniques non-traditional to fine jewelry metalsmithing.  What started as an experiment, however, became immediately popular with retailers and fashion editors.  Today we continue that ideal at b-side, showcasing our creative jewelry remixes.

A subtle compliment to our b-side label.  These works blend sentiment and concept with precious and rare materials. The resulting pieces are more personal, limited and special.
